A PICTURE, as they say, tells a thousand words. I am a storyteller approaching weddings with a journalistic’ or ‘documentary’ style photography to capture the essence of a wedding day. Meaning your wedding is treated more like an event with event coverage. I shoot candid shots capturing the fun and romance without upsetting the ceremony or the guests. I also include posed shots for classic coverage of your big day!
Going all out and want more then one day’s coverage or are you on a tight budget, Courthouse wedding or just want wedding portraits instead of a whole wedding day package? I can accommodate most budgets Lets Talk. ( hurgrace@yahoo.com)
Some tips when looking for a wedding photographer:
Ask to see photographer’s albums of past wedding pictures. Not just random lucky shots. Most everyone can manage a good image with a digital camera these days but can they tell your whole story? Remember there’s no second chance to retake a wedding portrait. Be choosy about who you pick to capture fond memories of the biggest day of your life. Are they sensitive to your families’ style and needs? When the event is done what you have left is your photographs.
Also ask what do you get for your price? Who owns your images in the end? Can you reprint or post your images online without copyright infringements or legal action? Or do you end up with a limited photo album that can only sit in your house.
I find many folks are sharing their photos online so I include self-use rights and a CD of images with my sessions. And as a documentary portrait photographer I can be there to record all your families’ milestones!
